The Boat Caribeņa is the only known sportfishing vessel to have won seven Top Boat annual awards in a decade, which she accomplished while competing against prestigious charter and private boats. There were times when she was underused, mechanically impaired, and even stolen. The author wouldn't have written this book had it not been for her seaworthiness and outstanding performance. She moors year-round in West Ocean City at Sunset Marina, her bow pointed east.
